tori ur so right. i literally can't count the number of times i saw a "big blog" make a relatively unimpressive edit and get hundreds, even thousands of notes, but see a detailed gifset or graphic barely get 1/3 as many reblogs as likes. i'm not saying that we shouldn't appreciate simpler edits, i think that the fandom as a whole kind of needs to realize the effort that goes into making complex edits and recognize the edits by reblogging them more!! ily -hygtgs
