Does anyone else associate colors with people?

This might just be me, but I always think of a color when I think of someone. I need to know the person a lot before I give them a color, but the color thing is really obvious to me. Like right now, my best friend is a purple. Whenever I see her I think of purple, and whenever I think of her I think of purple too. I don’t even know how I got purple as her color, I just did.
