It is done. I just finished my re-write of chapter 18. This one has a lot of fluffy feels as it is almost exclusively Newt hanging out with his son.

Since Ao3 is doing some updates tomorrow night I decided to go ahead and give you chapter 11 a little early. In this one we have a little more angst, a late night conversation and some sweet father and son interaction.

The muse was not very strong in me today, but...
I can officially announce that “The Adventure of a Lifetime” will resume regular posting of new chapters this coming Thursday, August 31.
Until then I should have the next four chapters written with three more outlined and detailed. It’s been a hard effort to get that far and I think I quite need the real-time feedback from readers to get into the zone of comfortable writing again. So... Thursday. Mark your calendars or whatever.
And once again I find that Newt interacting with the baby is so much easier to write for me than Tina doing it. Probably because she is struggling a little. As would I to be honest... so why can’t I write her? -.-
So far its all Newt being cute with the baby. And Tina being more on the despairing side of things. Good thing I went with the PPD... at least it’s a somewhat fitting explanation for my inability to write this.
Announcement
I’m going change my initial plan for that Newtina family fic I’m working on. It won’t be one longfic anymore but will be seperated into several parts... for my own peace of mind.
Part 1 is already finished and will be a little tweaked now that I have one single storyline to wrap my head around instead of several. As for part 2... I severely lack inspiration for the next stage right now and that is stressing me out. So instead of leaving the longer version possibly unfinished I’ll make that cut and see when and where things are going to continue. I have ideas but nothing that allows me to go on writing in a linear fashion...
Sorry to all who hoped for another novel-length installment in the AMMC ‘verse, but I don’t have that in my right now. You’ll still get a 9-10 chapter story though ;)
It is finally here, the first chapter of the sequel to “A Most Magical Creature!
Newt pondered her symptoms for a moment, then calculated some numbers in his head and came to a startling conclusion... Could it be? In the spring of 1933 Newt and Tina get some unexpected joyful news. It shouldn't have come as that much of a surprise really, but even the most wished for things get pushed to the back of the mind when life and work conspire to keep you busy...
This piece will follow Newt and Tina and their adventures in parenting. Overall T-rated, but as in AMMC there will be a few more explicit scenes strewn into the mix every now and then (clearly marked and in a way that they can be left out without missing parts important to the story).

A Most Magical Creature.
It’s a long one, it’s more or less canon compliant (at least I think so) and it has a happy end with only minimum of drama in it. Oh, and besides Newtina there’s also a smidge of Jaqueenie in it.
It had been a long and trying few days for Newt Scamander and nothing had gone according to plan, absolutely nothing. All he had wanted in New York was to catch a train that would bring him to Arizona... Instead, somewhere between an escaped Niffler, Death Potions and an Obscurial wreaking havoc, he found the probably most magical creature in existence... and he had no idea what to do about it. Starting just before the end of the movie "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", this story follows Newt and Tina and their somewhat slow and uncertain way towards getting what they never knew they needed...
If you haven’t stumbled over it yet, this is your chance to go and read it... This here writer would very much rejoice ;)
