For once, probably one time in months, Clint woke up without a baby crying or Tyler pulling on his hair. He woke up because there was a hand in his hair, a gentle one, carding through it and gently massaging his scalp. He hummed and his husband stilled his motions, a very sleepy gaze met an awake one."Mm.", he made, shifting closer to the other to bury his face in the other's shirt, enjoying the warmth radiating from the other archer.

Pepper could feel that something was off, but what, she couldnt put her finger on it. The kids weren't sick or unwell, and neither was she nor Dean. Everything physical was okay but there was just something that felt weird. Like she was being watched. Constantly. Feeling like she had to put a faster pace in her step when she was alone.
Trying to work around it, she stood at the counter, prepping the steaks for dinner tonight. The kids were happily babbling at each other in the next room within view of their mother. Feeling an eerie presence near her, she felt her hairs raise on her skin and goosebumps soon followed. Then just as quick as it was there, it was gone. That's when she heard the front door shut and the kids great their dad happily.
