Garden update: I did a lot of repotting today, which is unusual for this late in the year. It was necessary for a few plants, though, because they've been growing like wild all summer. I would especially never repot an Amorphophallus konjac in late summer because they're working on regrowing their starchy tubers so they can go dormant for the winter. But this pot has blown over and I was having a hard time keeping it watered. All signs that the plant is root-bound and needs more room. I jumped to quite a larger pot here even though I don't typically recommend that because this particular plant was so pot-bound and also prefers a higher moisture level in the soil. During reporting I found a new offset tuber that will sprout a leaf for the first time next spring! So cute! #amorphophallus #amorphophalluskonjac #plantnerd #houseplant #gardening #containergarden #aroid
