It's Ampersand Day. The shape poem reads "An 'and' is simply an 'and' but an ampersand is much more grand." There are rules for almost everything. Using the ampersand is no different. It is suggested that it be used in informal situations or as a part of a logo. However, rules are meant to be broken. The same applies to style. What you wear, how you wear it and when you wear it are the three main pillars of style. How you incorporate them is your personal style and part of your brand. Funky socks, vests, a dash or two or three of colour and fun frames can be a part of it. I am confident &l comfortable. That's the most important. People recognizing it & associating the elements with me is great! I get approached to be a brand ambassador/influencers, friends know what to buy me as gifts and people let me know when they see funny socks. Some have even upped their sock game because of my example. I'm so behind! Yesterday was #ampersandday which is my favorite! I love the #ampersand and I eventually want to do a series with various versions of it. Anywhoo, I'm trying to catch up on my arts.
