Hi! Sorry to bother you, but first of all I LOVE your YouTube videos! Seriously, all of them are absolutely fantastic and I’ve never seen an editor as talented as you before! I noticed you use Sony Vegas and I just got it recently, and I also got the Sapphire Plugin and I was just wondering do you use anything else for your videos? Because your transitions/overlays/effects are so beyond perfect and I was wondering if I was missing some sort of plugin or something else?
First off, thank you so much!
Secondly, I just recently got the Sapphire Plugin myself and I’ve only use some of the effect and I’m still looking at new ones.
My biggest suggestion for people just starting using Vegas is to take advantage of using Pan/Crop tool. I use for EVERYTHING. It can zoom in and out your picture or move it up to down or left to right. It VERY useful and really helps to make you clips flow together.
I guess the effects/transitions I use the most are Brightness (by making it go bright to dark or dark to bright helps makes the clips faded or flash) I use Color Correcter and Color Curves to help color the video. And one of the new (sapphire pluggin) transition I like to use is S_Swish3D (it basically adds a blur and zoom the picture in or out)
Honestly I don’t tend to use alot of effects on most of my vides but if you are wondering how I do a certain one on a specific video. Let me know and I tell you! XD Another suggestion is to look for some overlays/sparkles. I have a ton that I’ve collect over the years and they really help for transitioning your clips.
