Shelf-Confidence BPC - April 6th: reflection
Hello! I was looking for recolours for BV's furniture... I have issues with two different posts, the first and main one is the an-nas recolours of the BV "Hotel" set, great recolours but both box links are broken and can't be downloaded even with the " .app" added to the link. The other one is a older one i found at simscave, recolours for the sofa and armchair by Ink but the armchair link is broken. I don't know if you can help but i decided to give it a try. Have a nice day/night!
Hello there! :-D Sorry for my late reply! An-nas recs of the BV hotel set works for me, I use Digi’s dead-box-link-redirector! It adds a “m.” to the links, that way they work :-) if you still can’t download them, let me know and I’ll re-upload them to SFS for you!
Edit: re-hosted to SFS by @polly-poison here!
The armchair recs over at simscave on the other hand didn’t work for me either :-( and I couldn’t find any re-uploads of them. I made an attempt at “fixing” the link, but it didn’t work unfortunately. Does someone know where we can find these BV armchair recolors? And if anyone reading this still have them, please do re-upload! :-))
Edit: @polly-poison re-uploaded these recolors (+ all of Piggi’s Hotel recs in both lack and seasons) here! :-D
(I wish you - and anyone reading this as well - a nice day/evening! :-))
“Every time we sit down to write, we risk failure. So instead of being afraid, you might as well embrace it. Fail with style. Fail with humor. Fail spectacularly! Without risking failure, you will never know the flavor of courage that lives inside your belly. The only thing worse than failure is that hollow guilty feeling you get from not sitting your butt in the chair and doing the work.”

When thinking about creating a certain mood or feeling for pivotal scenes or turning points in your story, consider listening to well-chosen music or sounds in order to add texture and rhythm to your sentences and words. The musicality of your writing in those moments will unconsciously transfer to your reader’s inner ear, creating an emotional resonance.

Name the fear that holds you back from creating your best work. Shine a light on it. Examine it. Write it down on a piece of paper. If you need to hold a ceremony and burn it, do that. If you need to pin it to the wall above your desk to remind yourself that you can conquer it, do that. If you need to stab it to death, definitely do that. Whatever it takes, you have to excise that fear otherwise it will grow like a virus and overwhelm your creativity.
