This shit mean something to me
QUICK! tell us about either a blorbo or an oc you haven't gotten to talk about much yet!
my two favorite npcs in the dnd session im playing: Selric, a Paladin of the God of Life and Death, and Anaia, child queen of the Elves
OC INFO QUESTIONS: KING VORTEYO, HIGH PRINCESS ANAIA.
KING VORTEYO
FULL NAME: King Vorteyo, God of Night
NICKNAME(S): None - nicknames are beneath his dignity.
FACECLAIM: I don’t have just one. My mental image of him is more-or-less a cross between a young Alan Rickman...
... and Laurence Olivier as Heathcliff...
... with otherworldly silver-gray eyes.
BIRTH: The dawn of time.
DEATH: He’s immortal, but his physical body was destroyed 300 years after his earthly reign began.
ZODIAC SIGN: Aries.
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual.
GENDER: Male.
ORIGIN: God of the night; eldest son of Amro and Nira, the creator god and goddess; descended to earth in human form to overthrow corrupt rulers, then seized their throne for himself and became the only god to reign on earth.
NATIONALITY: None.
FAMILY: Nira, goddess of the sun (mother), Amro, god of light (father), other gods and goddesses (siblings), Queen Lusina (deceased wife), Prince Zeran (son).
CHARACTERISTICS:
+ Idealistic, passionate, artistic, kind and generous to those he favors, affectionate as long as his loved ones obey him.
- Power-hungry, controlling, vengeful, ruthless to his enemies, unforgiving of betrayal or disobedience, manipulative, misogynistic.
WEAPONS OF CHOICE: Silver fire; his spirit-warriors’ swords; assassins’ daggers.
OTHER PERSONAL INFO: An Eternal Crown is a genderbent retelling of The Magic Flute and Vorteyo is the equivalent of the Queen of the Night. His backstory is much more detailed, however. He was once an idealistic young god who believed the gods should dwell on the earth and force humankind to live in virtuous obedience. But his parents, the creators, valued human dignity and free will too much to do so. Eventually he defied his parents, gathered together a band of spirits, and descended to earth to establish a divine empire. But the longer he lived on earth, away from the divine love of his native heavenly realm, the more corrupt and self-glorifying he became. Besides the Queen of the Night, his character contains aspects both of Lucifer/Satan and of the volatile, punishing side of the Abrahamic God, which probably shows my ambivalent relationship with the Bible.
HIGH PRIESTESS ANAIA
FULL NAME: Anaia, High Priestess of the Sisterhood of Nira.
NICKNAME(S): None.
FACECLAIM: The Statue of Liberty.
For her coloring, imagine a woman of ambiguous ethnicity with deep red hair.
BIRTH: 250 years after King Vorteyo’s earthly reign began.
DEATH: I imagine she’ll live to at least the age of 100.
ZODIAC SIGN: Cancer.
SEXUALITY: Asexual, homoromantic.
GENDER: Female.
ORIGIN: A homeless orphan taken in by the Sisterhood of Nira; rose in their ranks over the years to become High Priestess.
NATIONALITY: Unknown.
FAMILY: None.
CHARACTERISTICS:
+ Kind, wise, steadfast, spiritual, compassionate, peace-loving, a strong leader who inspires devotion.
- Aloof, rigid, fairly ruthless when testing virtue, misandrist.
WEAPONS OF CHOICE: None - it’s against her vows to harm anyone.
OTHER PERSONAL INFO: Anaia is a female version of The Magic Flute’s Sarastro, but as with King Vorteyo, her backstory is much more detailed. As a child she was taken in by the Sisterhood, which at the time was a secret, persecuted society. Eventually she became a priestess, and was ultimately chosen as High Priestess after the previous leader was killed by Vorteyo’s warriors. Meanwhile she became close friends (possibly more than friends) with Vorteyo’s mortal wife Lusina, who secretly shifted her loyalty to the Sisterhood and ultimately gave Anaia the means to defeat Vorteyo, sacrificing herself in doing so and dying in Anaia’s arms. If we were to compare An Eternal Crown to Star Wars (as The Magic Flute often has been), then Anaia would be Obi-Wan Kenobi, Vorteyo would be Anakin/Darth Vader (except Anaia was never his friend), and Lusina would be a composite of Padmé and Duchess Satine.
i need a tag for bg3 ocs that are not a tav but tav adjacent.
just two besties having a picnic at bloomridge park way before all that tadpole nonsense
(not pictured: me having to create a layer with Awbonee's scars to toggle on and off when in doubt because I am not used to drawing her without them so my brain kept saying "this looks kind of wrong")
