Hi, I saw in your post to artist that you said, "Art may be an original illustration or a photomanipulation." Are these the only kinds of art that you're accepting for this challenge? I ask because I enjoy creating fanmixes, but have zero skill at illustrations and manips.

Thanks for your question! We hadn’t discussed having fanmixers as part of the DCBB, but we’d be open to incorporating this role into future rounds. We’d make it a separate participant type, so teams would have an author, artist, and fanmixer. Please send us an email at [email protected]! - muse

All these answers related to my Podfic Big Bang project, a story I started two years ago, but didn’t get serious about until now.

4. Describe the ambiance of this story.

The story is… soft, sad, and fraught with emotion. So much simmers under the surface for the main characters that it makes each word full of meaning.

9. What part of this story is your favorite? (Your favorite in general, what most deeply resonates with you, what was most fun to read—interpret it as you will.)

Oh, wow, uhhhhh. There’s a point where the two characters have a misunderstanding that gets me EVER. DAMN. TIME. She thinks he was ignoring her to hook up with his ex. He thinks she’s purposefully ignoring him out of the blue. When the two hash their feelings out it’s so refreshing.
