aoughhhh argenti quest...how to be the most capable but cringefail at the same time? Hes the master at them simultaneously.

and i find his relationship with velite very...interesting. during the whole quest it felt like smth happened between them (?) Im not sure how to describe it. The thing abt hsr is time is only convenient to the story. Weeks will pass and the reader wont be informed. Exactly how many days were we in the sting or wtv it was? Definitely more than one day. I might have thought otherwise if velite was not part of the quest, but his behavior says more time has passed. He starts with annoyance than near the end feels affection towards Argenti. He talks as if they have gotten a lot closer over the course of the quest, which further soldified my thoughts. How much time passed from the events of the quest and Argenti's mssgs? Obviously quite a bit since Velite changed careers during this time and how Argenti helped.

Overall the quest was pretty cool, but it would've been so much better if they just added a scene like "___ days later..." or smth like that. Or "the next day". The timing kinda threw me off since it didnt take very long but felt as it should have.

But what himeko said at the end kinda made me sad for argenti. He's essentially looking for something that can't be found. Or maybe idrila can idk how aeons work.

thinking abt the parallels of the cage between penacony and jarilo iv. and how while both have a cage they are handled in different ways. the 'cage' of sorts where svarog keeps them safe by not letting them go up to belobog is preservation. the crew makes svarog see its not just the preservation of their lives, that matter, but also preservation of their will. sundays cage is an escape, a wish to reshape society with order. his order holds people to different standards. harmony, robin explains, is peace, yes, but at an equal price, embracing everyone. and robins splash art, her reaching out the cage, is like her in the story reaching out to sunday, releasing the dreamers from the cage.

ok trailer. so many thoughts.

lets start off with the trash cans. I'm surprised (not in a bad way!) hsr is bringing back the whole trash can thing with the mc. But why are they buff? Will they be an integral part of the story? Or are they just featured for this trailer? It seems as though this 'Tatalov' is a sort of judge, who decides whether trash is righteous. What would a righteous trash even look like? (or am I reading too much into these silly goofy muscular trash cans?)

And now we come to Sampo. Sampo Koski, mr. worldwide? First belobog, then the xianzhou, and now penacony. Sampo in general is such an interesting character to me. He is the most unserious, wacky man, but then he says such out of pocket things. (the scene where he talks to the player, the scene where he mentions he thought he would have to step in. step in and do what? on what authority?) In the whole trailer he is just throwing the trailblazer and doing goofy stuff, no explanation why he's there. Well I guess we don't know why he was anywhere else. A big part of his mystery is the group he is aligned with, the masked fools. We don't know that much about them (they like to cause chaos and laugh. For who? Chaos will always favor someone). Now that we know Sparkle will be there, hopefully she sheds some light onto the followers of the aeon of elation.

We also got to see the models of some of the characters that were introduced! Those being Firefly, Acheron, Black Swan, Robin and Sunday. Looks like we will be spending a lot of time with firefly, although the last of those little pics she was in with stelle was a little strange. Acheron and black swan were placed next to each other, I don't know if that means anything either. The ending seems like a metaphor, force the garbage king to mend his ways? I think this 'garbage king' is referring to someone we don't know yet.

final thoughts, the area looks so pretty. and fun too! I love the las vegas vibes, very bright and colorful. On the drip marketing, both the 2.1 characters REALLY caught my attention. Sparkle and Black Swan were kinda eh for me. Sparkle is cute...but not cute enough for me to pull. Acheron though...her splash is absolutely gorgeous. I love her design and her colors. Also, I'm pretty sure she's the raiden mei expy? The large sword, the hair and the eyes, make it pretty obvious. so bonus points. Aventurine looks like a silly guy. Reading his blurb, he came off as someone who is silly for show, and is actually pretty serious and manipulative. idk that's the vibes. I also love his design too...especially the little heart <3
