Did you know that there's canonically a vampire social media site? At least in V20 before the entire kindred net got nuked in V5, there was an entire vampire blogging platform called BloodSpot. While information is kind of limited, the blurb about it in the V20 book Rites of the Blood makes it sound like it's basically vampire Tumblr. It was created by a group of Anarch blood sorcerers called the Digital Draculas, who used a special ritual that essentially enchanted the website and made it so that it could only be seen by vampires, ghouls, and revenants. Kine or, say, hunters who try to view Bloodspot pages just got a 404 error. My group has used BloodSpot as a plot point a couple times, using it to tell social media based stories within our VtM games. Some examples include a gossip account which was spreading the dirty laundry of various vampires and ghouls like some kind of vampire Lady Whistledown with deadly consequences, an anonymous Anarch activist within a heavily Camarilla city posting public screeds against the Prince, and the #GhoulLife tag where the city's retainers were sharing various memes about the elders of the city and undermining the Prince's authority Got me thinking that a #BloodSpot tag here on Tumblr would be a fun way to write in-character/RP type posts about our OCs, have them react to things each other are doing, and stuff like that. I might be tempted to start that at some point on a side blog
As promised bonus cards for Anarch, Sabbat, Camarilla and Tal'Mahe'Ra!
“The Crowbar Incident” not a great way of calming down the Rotschreckting Childe of the local Sabbat leader… Definitely won’t have consequences!
X, childe of Mohammad al-Muthlim, embraced in the early 2000s, 'earning' it by winning 100 ghoul fights. A boy who was convinced he wouldn't be missed, given grand new purpose by a man who will bring order and power to those who follow.
