What happened?

Okay, so Feanaro got into a fight a week or so ago with an unknown animal and he has a pretty bad rip in his ear which we knew about, but what we didn’t know until today was that he was also bitten on his stomach (I don’t understand how I missed this, I’ve been petting that cat’s stomach for days).

Anyway, he’d gotten his rabies shot beforehand, but according to my mom, (who was the one at the vet, I’ve heard all this secondhand) we weren’t in the window for that to be considered completely effective.  So we’ve been advised to keep him in quarantine for six months or to euthanize him.  Thing is, if we knew for sure that his previous owners kept him updated on his shots and things, we’d only have to keep him under observation for 45 days.

I’m so fucking upset about it because he’s the sweetest little thing and he doesn’t deserve this.  :(

I’m sad about it too... one of the good things though is that my mom told me he actually doesn’t need to be kept in a crate?  so we just have to keep him in that room for awhile.

still, that sucks.  :(((((

ok guys, it's really crunch time now. One and a half weeks til springs break. That's all the time i have left with my advisers, after that it's ALL me. Normally this would be fine but my dick of a spanish professor keeps changing his mind on the requirements and I can't keep up.

I feel really overwhelmed and very defeated right now so kind words and inspiration in any form you are willing to give them would be wildly appreciated.

Especially those of you who have been through this before, I really need you now more than ever.

Also if any of you will have some free time in the next couple weeks and want to edit things for me i would love you forever and ever and even more so if you speak/read spanish.

The Fall tv show? Not like the movie, The Fall right? Are they related?

The BBC show The Fall is completely separate from the movie The Fall.  Both are spectacular.

The show is on Netflix and if you haven't watched it, you TOTALLY SHOULD.  It's amazing.  But I can't look at Jamie Dornan without shuddering.

I don’t know a ton about d1 but I know a little about insulin dosage from working in a pharmacy. It’s possible your dose is wrong and so it’s not working to keep your numbers stable. I wouldn’t wait two weeks, dosage problems are easy enough to fix!

I've been trying to take less long-acting insulin, but I'm afraid to take too little.  I know I need to call... it's just, you know, calling...

My homebrew is finished and ready to drink. I tried it last night and in my opinion it's a bit subpar... Of course my par is pretty high. If any of you local people want a bottle or two, hit me up.
