Day 1 - Ancient

T’was day 1, the prompt was ancient. I realised that if I really wanted to enjoy this monthly challenge, I really need to decided what kind of stuff I enjoy to draw. I mostly enjoy drawing character. If you ever scroll down my instagram, you can see that I hardly ever draw masculine characters. Quickly realising that I could do some practise by incorporating Link into each day could not be just good fun but also a good practise. In the end of the day, he’s a handsome boy.

I used Kuretake golden watercolour for the golden bits of the armor. Otherwise I used schmincke watercolours in my Artgecko sketchbook.

Another Zelda commission from the boy. He guided just about every aspect of this. He’s a Sheikah child merchant selling a lot of ancient armor and weapons. That’s his horse, Firebolt.
