I’m absolutely obsessed with how the stranger/Gandalf plot ties in the Power of One’s Choices theme which is SO important in lotr 😭

THIS!! That moment when he said he was good was beautiful and absolutely underlines that running theme of the choices made like Frodo pitying Gollum actually helped in the end to destroy the ring. I literally screamed and I think Rings Of Power is connecting to the most fundamental themes of Tolkien plus to the original trilogy in a really natural and emotional way. I adored all the scenes with the Stranger/Gandalf and the fact through Nori believing he was good he saw it himself and chose to stay, chose to help them.
