#and autocorrect

Question for all the other ESL writers/readers out there: what are the words you struggle with most to differentiate? I can never get lie/lay right. When do I use one over the other?! I will often go to ridiculous lengths to avoid using those words entirely.

Also, words I have trouble spelling right if I’m not using autocorrect: because (beaucuse), finished (fininshed), beautiful (beatiful). And why is the key for ä so close to the ‘ ?! Donät is a recurring thing in my WIPs 🙄

Now that I'm on Duolingo, I've had to add German to my keyboard languages so I can write those fancy dots* over the letter 'a' like so: ä and other similar things.

Which means I get to experience the utter joy of autocorrect incorrectly correcting my words into more than one language, so that's fun 🙃🙃

Update on Snapchat

I got a new phone and the camera is being a butt and doesn't want to work and Snapchat keeps crashing so I literally can't take any pictures on anything and I've tried using a camera app and that won't work so any help would be lovely that's all :)
