Whole prey feeders for what kind of animals, may I ask? Snakes?
Yep! And lizards, and occasionally raptors and other wildlife rescues, as I sometimes make donations locally to a wildlife rescue (though those are usually the 2wk old male culls, rather than the day-olds).

#asks#anon asks#I've had a couple people buy one or two bigger quail for their dogs#but it's rare#and I'm nooooot 100% sure it was feeders and not training now that I think about it#a surprising number of dog owners buy coturnix to train their hunting dogs with#I assume cats could also eat them as I've seen whole prey chicken chicks used as part of a diet#but I've never personally sold any that anyone told me was going to a cat#the day-olds are almost exclusively snakes and lizards#and bug#I ALSO use the unhatched but full term babies!#I open all the eggs and find the ones that made it but didn't make it#pull them out and clean them and then freeze them for a friend who has a snake#that will ONLY take quail but needs them extra small because he's small too#animal death for ts#animal death
