WRONG!

Just when you think it’s over, it comes BACK again! Like a zombie or... a skeleton!!! (Wow!!) 

The best writer that ever lived @likes-words-and-shrimp decided to write a short story continuing where the series left off! It’s actually only a chapter long! Wow, I shouldn’t be hyping it this much, should I? 

WRONG AGAIN!  

I’m really sorry to keep yelling and assuming you’re wrong, please don’t be upset, I was told this is how you be charismatic and get people to like you

@likes-words-and-shrimp delivers an amazing fun new chapter starring everyone’s favorite character, Sans!! The short skeleton with a heart of blood! Err, ketchup. 

And that’s not all! You’ll also get some SansxToriel pairing spiced in throughout the story! “Soriel” as the kids say! You’ll feel awfully sore if you miss this! Oh my god no, don’t keep that in.

 All placed in a wonderful jazzy noir-like atmosphere! You’ll say to yourself “Wow! This is vaguely 30s maybe? But wait, weren’t TVs and cellphones mentioned at some point?”

Your Gutters comic popped up on my dash, and I'm?? Transfixed??? Who are these people. What's goin on in their lives. I need context please

Aaaa thank you!!! I’m so excited when I get feedback on my work this is so AAAAA you have no idea the immediate burst of energy I just got in my chest yippee!! I was really eager to do something experimental with drawing in and out of the panels (Ie….the gutters) and the fuzziness was something I was worried wouldn’t work out in the process since it can only be seen once the whole thing is done.

>:) this was meant to be a small little oneshot, left a bit vague and self contained — that is to say what I’m about to say is “canon” but it doesn’t really matter lol people can interpret it however they’d like (all my process and design and character drafts and maps are on my patreon if people are REALLY curious)

Cam is an opera singer, he’s got a lot of posters and memorabilia in his house. Tooke is his tailor who lives in the walls 😭 he’s also a stagehand. I have it so tooke collects some of his posters too.

Cam is romantically involved with Laertes (Alphonse), to whom this is an affair. Laertes is really laissez faire with it, Cam kinda hates that and also it’s like low-key super annoyed with him. It’s messy. Anyway their relationship reaches a boiling point, Cam communicates with a letter to Tooke saying to get rid of this dude (we don’t see this first letter), but it’s referenced in the second one we do see which asks him to fix soemthing on his costume and reminds him to off this guy tonight.

Tooke follows through after hearing Laertes say he wants to tell his wife which Cam takes as a piece of blackmail sorta because he wants to save his reputation. After they go to bed the lights go off and the gutters and panel fade to the same colour which is when Tooke leaves the walls and strangled Laertes in his sleep a la phantom of the opera style rope trick.

Some feedback I got after making this comic is that is has good rereadability or Easter eggs. There’s a lot of metaphor shoved into it like a LOT A LOT and it doesn’t really matter if you choose to read it as only panels or only gutters or altogether :0 it’s a little experience

These were my dnd characters that I made human and historical fiction for this comic but yeah that’s it! Thats gutters :3
