Anyone else have a brief freakout when they put in their earbuds and turn on the volume on a video, only for the video not to have sound?
With my lame hearing, my first thought is instantly, "I've gone completely deaf!" Seriously, yeah.
My second thought, after I've talked myself off that ledge by reminding myself I could still hear to some degree a matter of seconds earlier, becomes, "Or your earbuds aren't properly connected and everyone else in the room can hear the sound but you!" (And now they know what you're doing over here behind your computer screen.)
