Somebody doesn't agree with your opinion online?
Hear them out.
My personal example:
As a danganronpa fan I always get into heated character discussions about stupid shit, opinions and whatever. Once me and this person argued back and forth for an hour about how I liked Mondo and she didn't and her reasons "weren't solid" yadayada. Looking back it was a shit thing of me to do, but alot of people are doing this nowadays.
But it's been a few months and my aim is to improve! Instead of arguing, tell them you respect their opinion. Then say your reasons for liking/disliking the character and ask for why they think the opposite.
This has helped me when people talk to me about celestia, I'm not a big fan of her character at all, but I like her more thanks to the influence of her fans and the fandom itself. Same for Kyoko.
I was talking about Mahiru in a comment section of how I didn't like her and somebody said "play her free time events to understand her better" and after playing ONE I understood even more why people liked her.
Stop playing your favourite characters Ftes and play your LEAST favourite characters Ftes. That's how Kazuichi is now one of my favourite characters! I used to hate him. Taka too. And Mikan.
So let's stop arguing about opinions and ships and just get along and enjoy the fandom for what it is!
