When someone mentions being homeless for the holidays because they're trying to use circumstantial humor or gallows humor to make the fact that they're displaced on Christmas a lighter sentence maybe don't?? Say shit like "well maybe after the holidays when etc etc etc blah blah blah" it's not like I'm fucking vacationing for the holidays and decided to be homeless the holidays being over won't just magically change the fact that I am literally displaced. You wanna know what I got for Christmas? Disowned. I got fucking disowned. For being autistic. And refusing to allow people to be racist and ableist in my presence. Grow up. Clue in. Jfc.
