@lapisdragon01 coming in with the hard questions!!! Immediately I jumped to Lavi from D.Gray-Man but I had to pause and really think through it— only to come to the same conclusion! I’ve got a lot of characters I genuinely love but Lavi Bookman Jr is definitely my favorite.
#ask and answers#favorite anime character#lavi#d.gray man#d.grayman hallow#definitely not my favorite anime#but this show has some of the best written characters#its a gold standard for characterization#and lavi#lavi is the best#torn between duty and his sense of self#forced to see the wprst of humanity#but still seeing the good in them#his entire character is a balancing act#and watching him teeter#is#fascinating#is he a light hearted goofball#a flirt#a tactician#an indifferent onlooker#he is all of this#seeing him try to find himself amongst a warzone#while knowing his self doesnt matter to history#is just incredibly interesting
