small headcanon things for the dash bc writing isn’t in the cards for me tonight:
he makes a mean apple cider, both virgin and alcoholic, hot or chilled. for any comfort drink needs, come to Genesis.
yes, both of his ears are pierced. more than once. he might also have a tattoo or several.
although he finds Wall Market’s lurid consumerism distasteful, he supports the arts in any form and is a quiet benefactor for Aniyan Kunyan’s Honeybee Inn.
having grown up in Mideel, Genesis is a strong swimmer with a particular love of being around water. when on vacation, he visits hot springs often and makes regular use of the ShinRa bath-houses.
additionally, Genesis runs his shower water to practically boiling.
Genesis is remarkably soft of voice, and he enunciates in a way that is deliberate and unhurried. Even when his temper flares, his tone takes on a rather pointed edge to it, rather than rising above a certain volume.
when in the company of strangers and acquaintances, Genesis prefers to listen and observe and leave the reins of conversation to someone more suitable to socializing.
dislikes children but is remarkably good with them --- in short bursts.
this probably has something to do with the fact that he’s rather liberal with performing fire-based parlor tricks in public, and there’s few things children love more than something flashy.
