I really enjoy Yoko and Arikado friendship, but every time I write them I feel the need to put in big letters “I can not emphasize enough that there is nothing romantic between them and I do not ship them” cause I do definitely like to bring up that Yoko initially was crushing pretty hard on Arikado

But like, its not a matter of teasing a relationship or current feelings, its more about having the maturity to accept and overcome an unrequited crush and decide to forge a relationship with someone anyway - specifically one without lingering expectations or ulterior motives.

Idk I just think it says a lot about a relationship when two people are able to plainly look an old crush in the eye and be perfectly comfortable in each other’s company nonetheless.
