I am 100% serious when I say that the cowboy in Dracula is completely thematically fundamental. The story stops working every time ppl try to take him out. Its why they just end up making it another story entirely.

I find it incredibly funny that Americans will stop at nothing to Americanize every IP and storyline they can come across. They stop at nothing to take a story line and make it digestible and self grandulating for an American as possible

Except for some fucking reason Dracula is the one exception to the rule because why do they never include the cowboy

Imagine if they made a Muppets Dracula. Dracula would be played by a human actor who's taking the whole thing dead seriously and is truly horrifying. Then it cuts to Miss Piggy as Lucy Westenra.
