Things that have happened that remind me I do, in fact, have ADHD: A List.
1. Forgot my phone on top of my car roof and drove off with it. It fell off down the street and we only knew this cuz my hubby was able to track my phone location.
2. Lost my credit card for literally 7 months before finally finding it in the trunk of my car… only to lose it again immediately after.
(But wait, there’s more…)
3. Carrying around my water bottle while shopping and set it down on a shelf while looking at something. Didn’t realize I left it until I got home, and by then it was too late.
4. Forgot about laundry in the washing machine 3x before finally moving it to dryer.
5. Set my car keys and wallet down in the garage while I was unloading the groceries from the car, then forgot to bring them in… and forgot to close the garage…. (Luckily nothing bad happened but it definitely COULD HAVE.)
6. The countless times I’ve forgotten people’s birthdays cuz I can never remember what day/date it is.
7. Almost causing the bathtub to overflow cuz I turned my back on it and started cleaning my bathroom counter.
8. Numerous unfinished house projects everywhere…
9. Being late for a work report (twice) and getting written up for it.
10. Having to crank out a week-long school project with my kid the night before cuz we ALL forgot about it (haha this is really for my whole family, cuz I’m pretty sure we all have the ADHD)
Anyway. Yeah. That’s just off the top of my head. Why am I writing this? I dunno. I think it’s just fun to document the shenanigans as a reminder to myself and also for others to relate to.
Um did I miss or completely forget some important lore at some point about the Nerevarine? It’s mentioned they end up sailing off to Akavir, but like... are they still immortal tho?
Like I know their ageless aspect is due to Dagoth Ur’s corprus- the Divine disease- and Divayth Fyr’s potion gets rid of the fleshy growth part, but like...
Idk, if it’s Dagoth Ur’s disease, wouldn’t it be tied to him? And he gets his divinity from the Heart just like the Tribunal. But they lose their power and basically become mortal again, so like... with Dagoth Ur gone, why would the Nerevarine stay immortal? Or maybe they don’t, and it’s never mentioned anywhere afterwards either way? Maybe being ageless is Locked In on account of being Azura’s Chosen One?
Im worried this is common knowledge everyone knows and I feel dumb lol
