Headcanon: DC Randall

So Batman, and most DC Comics in fact actually has elements of Lovecraft literature in them. I remember somewhere reading that Aquaman actually frequently mentions Deep Ones and Cthulhu because his people had to fight them off a really long time ago.

Her White Rabbit isn't exactly the canon DC version, it's more or less a semi-canon semi-OC character, which is great. White Rabbit, or Ray, was the imaginary friend of Jaina, which means that it could be possible that Jaina either 'created' her with her own mind or that Rabbit was somewhat already there, just waiting to take full fledged form.

White Rabbit, however, we assume is a Great Old One or an Outer God. Now, the Great Old One aspect makes sense if White Rabbit or Ray were of some sort of extraterrestrial race. Great Old Ones are just cosmic beings of insane amounts of power. Some Great Old Ones aren't the cosmic terrors like Cthulhu, in fact some have human avatars, and we could assume that for White Rabbit.

Another theory I have is that Rabbit is in fact another Outer God, a being created that is like a cosmic deity. She could have been formed like most current Outer Gods, which is that they formed through mass amounts of time, taking form finally after eons of creation being products of Yog-Soggoth, or the multiverse. Like Nyarlathotep, Rabbit could be one that dwells on Earth just to cause mayhem.

I'm going to lean more towards the Great Old One idea, because Great Old Ones can actually 'die'. She can bleed, she has human feelings, this that and the other. Outer Gods have no real sense of human emotion, they are invincible, and they usually are hideous, the only exception being Nyarlathotep in human form, like G-Man, Randall Flagg, or the Black Pharaoh.

White Rabbit finally took form after a certain amount of time, but she is more like the Great Old Ones than she is a Outer God.

Then again, we also have the Old Gods, Gods of Earth that are trapped within the Dreamlands. The Old Ones can sorta wheedle into Earth through dreams, so it would make sense of one taking a form on Earth if it had a vessel. 

So Ray is a Great Old One or an Old God, which ever makes most sense, which means that if she and the DC Universe Randall were to push away their titles, as they did, and be together, it would mean that the Outer Gods would want Rays head on a platter and the Great Old Ones would want to rip apart Randall.

As happy as they'd be causing chaos and destruction, it would mean Vine, Mother Hydra, Dagon, Cthulhu, Hastur, V'arl, Zanoorial, and all the other Great Old Ones would want to kill Randall, and the Outer Gods would do the same to Ray. It means their love is forbidden, making it all for the better.
