i think simblr needs to stop acting like theres only room on here for fun slice of life sitcoms and light dramas. not being able to talk about certain parts of ocs or their stories because people on simblr are puritanical and cannot comprehend a character thats worst crime isnt anything beyond littering is ridiculous. theres so many cool ideas that none of you hear about cause people dont wanna have to deal with idiots in their inbox trying to tie morality to fiction that is meant to be fucked up and in genres similar to horror and psychological horror.

to add to this; this doesnt just go for horror, i only specifically mentioned that since thats what i enjoy and was talking abt initially but this goes for basically anything. include that character with addiction who doesnt just recover after one rehab stay and a motivational speech, let them be awful to people they love, let people make shitty decisions because thats what they would do, let them be selfish and cruel because of their own motivations, explore toxic relationships without either party being solely responsible because thats whats real. AND LET THERE BE "BAD" ENDINGS. the hero doesnt win, they truly never learnt their lesson, no one changes because theyre stubborn or because they manipulate their way around it. maybe they die at the end and it was all for nothing. dont put out your own creativity and vision because you want to be palatable or dont want to run the risk of being misconstrued because thats part of the process.

Hi all, I really wrestled with myself over posting this but one of my very closest friends provided me with the wisdom, encouragement, and resolve to swallow my pride and ask for help again.

As some of you may know, I’ve been struggling financially for quite some time now. In recent months, my household has barely been able to make it paycheck to paycheck. Usually, we end up negative a couple days before payday and can overdraw (only on my account) a bit in the meantime, but currently, we are negative $100 in my bank account (which means I can’t overdraw any more) and only have $100 in my boyfriend’s bank account to make it to next Friday (which will not work because we have over $200 worth of bills due to hit in a couple of days as well as we’re currently running out of essential household items). On top of that, my cat has a cyst in her ear that just ruptured yesterday and definitely requires immediate medical attention to prevent it from becoming a major health issue for her. Both of us have been picking up tons of extra hours at work as we can, but my boyfriend is currently in a row with HR because his company has been paying him incorrectly and hours are getting more and more scarce at my job, so it’s just not enough, especially with our rent going up over $100 with our lease renewal last month. Without…something, I won’t even be able to afford to go to work to make the money to get us out of this predicament. It just feels like we’re just endlessly drowning all the time, and it’s getting so hard to stay afloat.

So this is me begging for a lifeline because I don’t see any other option. If anyone has absolutely anything to spare, I would appreciate it more than you can possibly know. I don’t know how much we need to keep our heads above water right now, but literally anything helps!!! And if you can’t donate, (which I completely understand bc times are mf tough out here) if you’d be able to just reblog or spread the word, that’s more than enough.
