The Impala’s engine came to a halt as the boys pulled up in the parking lot. Their voices could be heard from within the car as they spoke and got out.

“I’m just saying Dean, wouldn’t kill ya to eat just a bit healthier.” Despite having said the same line to his brother many times before, well, although, of course, there was some annoyance in the younger of the two’s voices, really, Sam would continue to have the same conversation with Dean however many times as it took! He was serious in his intention, but his tone was very light; not serious at all, really. “You’re not gonna be able to live forever on burgers and cheap motel snacks, you know!”

Of course, the elder being the driver, they’d gone to a diner. But even diners sold salads! Not that Sam would ever expect Dean to order one, of course. That didn’t mean he himself would follow suit and get a burger as well for what would be, who even knows at this point, the 10th time that week maybe?

Growing up, the Winchesters had always known they were different from everyone else, and not just because they moved around a lot, or because their dad told them they were different, or because their dad treated them different. It was a feeling. And, sometimes that ever-lasting feeling felt a bit different on certain days. What exactly was ‘different’ about that day, going to a simple diner for lunch, Sam didn’t know. But, he could feel it. But, a feeling was usually just that; a feeling. Nothing had happened yet to them, so why would something happen today?

Before kids though I can imagine them going out and having fun and falling through the front door together. makes breakfast: Depends on who wakes up first. I'm betting it's Sigrun. Bard tends to dither about in bed.remembers to feed the fish: Sigrun. Or she'd be reminding him that he just fed the fish five minutes ago. decorates the apartment: Sigrun. She probably has a better eye because Bard is just rubbish at decor. Rubbish.initiates duets: Bard is shy about singing but I think they both have their moments. He's the type to come hug her from behind and start humming some random song and pretty soon they're both singing or something like that.falls asleep first: Together? Just cuddling in bed and talking and then sleep.
