Vy flushed red staring at Lucas, realizing he might be speaking too much.
Vy:... I mean... Huh... But he can huh... have sex... I think... I'll shut up now! -and he covered his face in shame-
Although he opened his mouth to answer on occasion, he simply sat quietly as Vy spoke, feeling his cheeks burn. He knew Vy was very open, but he had not quite expected this type of answer to his inquiry. In a way it was sweet, and it showed just how much he cared about his husband.. but it was a little more information than he had imagined coming his way. But he did remember River coughing, always saying he wasn't fully healthy, and this, what Vy told him, worried him. Perhaps he just shouldn't, what if he somehow hurt River with it?
Lucas: He told me, very casually once, that he died.. is that why?
He remembered that so well. They had never talked about it after that, but he still remembered the words as if they were just said to him. It scared him and worried him to know what Vy had just told him, that he could hurt him somehow with what he wanted.
Lucas: Maybe I should just not... I don't want to make him cough up a lung.. or worse.
