i can't possibly convey to you all how much i love living in austin texas

my three years here so far have been beyond perfect. so much gratitude to express every day. i played clarinet last night on stage with the human experience during the appreciate art austin festival, an hour after proposing the idea to him and biking back home to grab my horn. such an honor to be trusted by both my friends throwing the event, and david block (tHE) himself, to jam along, with pretty much none of them having any idea in advance if i was capable or not. the event was straight up a mini-music festival, 8 hours long, at a venue on the east side, with all sorts of music, art, vendors, massage therapy, crypto-currency workshops, and organic local food. i got a chance to talk with andreilien/heyoka for a while, before and after the obliterated our sensibilities with his west coast g-funk alien beats. he's not quite as aloof and detached as he might seem at first.

i exchange like 30 fuckin' hugs every day. laugh constantly. surrounded by absolutely beautiful, talented people who all help to co-create our living environment. there are enthralling females everywhere who are down to earth, and guys who treat each other well. no rivalries, no undermining competitiveness, no drama. i am inspired by our scene's open-sourcedness, and serve to empower people with my wholeheartedness, joyful irreverence, and dedication to making this life the most aesthetically fulfilling existence it can be.

you guys can't possibly understand how good it feels. i assume there are at least some of you who keep to yourselves and cultivate your blog to your liking but don't feel enabled to take that same ownership towards your immediate surroundings. i implore you to do what you can to create a scene in your likeness. do what motivates you the most, be patient, curious, and grateful, and it will all fall into place in time. it's all a quest for self-actualization anyway, and if you prioritize the destination over the journey, you are doing it wrong.
