Sonya: So, how’d the date with Andrei go?
Natasha: I tried complimenting him, but couldn’t decide on whether to say “You have an amazing smile” or “You have nice eyes”. Then he smiled at me and I panicked and said, “You have eyes.”

EVERY TIME I READ THIS MY MIND GOES TO ANDREI AFTER HE COMES BACK TO RUSSIA AND FINDS OUT THAT NATASHA TRIED TO RUN OFF WITH ANATOLE
“I hurried here for I thought That happiness was close, but I was wrong. The kind of a choice you've made. My goodness! You! Just think of whom you have preferred me to! Whom did I talk to, humbly, lovingly, today? Why did I waste my words of tenderness in such a way? Why did you inspire hope in me? Why didn't you tell me openly That you had turned the past to fun And that your memories ignore All we had felt and said and done? I'm still feeling as before. And neither travels nor diversions Have killed my tenderest emotions. I lived with them through thick and thin. If you had told me that you hated everything: My coming home, the way I talk, The sight of me, the way I walk, I should have broken off with you”
hey everyone! i don’t know if this has been done before, but i made a survey on the opinions of the ghost quartet fandom!! it would be super cool if you could take a look at it! the questions are all supposed to be fun (there are some hard choices though, like, sorry for making you choose between performers!!), and there’s nothing personal on there!
it would be great if you guys could take it and even super mega greater if you could reblog this to spread the word!
“Natasha put down the stocking, leaned in [Andrei’s] direction, and suddenly, noticing his shining eyes, went over to him on light steps and bent down.
‘You’re not asleep?’
‘No, I’ve been looking at you for a long time; I felt it when you came in. No one but you gives me that soft silence... that light. I want to weep for joy.’”

Interviewer, to Andrei: What kind of girl do you prefer?
Andrei: My fiancée.
Interviewer, to Anatole: And what kind of girl do YOU prefer?
Anatole: Andrei’s fiancée.
Andrei: Admit it! You like my fiancée!
Anatole: Oh come on! I mean, am I attracted to Natasha? Sure. Do my days feel better when I’m around her? Yeah. Does she get me in ways no one ever has? Indubitably. Do I fantasize about her? Yes, but only in six positions.
Andrei:
Anatole: Look, am I the kind of guy who would try to steal someone else’s girlfriend? Sure, of course. But do I like Natasha? The answer is no. You have nothing to worry about.
Andrei: If I were a gardener, I’d put our tulips together.
Natasha: I love you!
Later...
Anatole: If I were a gardener, you’d be my hoe
Natasha: 😳😍😳😳😍😳😳
Andrei: Uneventful.
Natasha: What?
Andrei: What?
Natasha: I asked if you’re close with your father and you sat here in silence for five minutes and then said “uneventful”
