Discover the Secrets of Creating Stunning Portrait By Loomis Method Drawing
This is how I work and how I taught my students to draw heads. The key is locating the mid point of the head on the brow line then accuratly deviding the face into 3 equal parts. Hair line to brow line, brow line to bottom of nose and bottom of nose to chin. Simplest way to get the proportions right.
I'm not sure if any of you guys that follow me like to draw, but I found a channel on youtube that is very very helpful (especially if you have a hard time understanding Andrew Loomis books).
It is helping me a lot in the construction of the head... So I thought it'd be nice to share :)
