Oh it’s undeniably a cool name, it just really is just trans guys and a few nb people who have it as a first name, which is what’s amusing to me. It’s much more common as a middle name (ie first surname) in dk, so that makes sense about your relative as well!

Completely unrelated to his sexuality but I find it funny that Icelanders call him H.C. Andersen except we pronounce the HC as if we're spelling it in Danish, not Icelandic. When I was a kid I thought his name was something like "Håsi"
