Andy 2016 A Time For Truth
Andy 2016 A Time For Truth might become a presidential campaign slogan that you hear over the next few years. Sure, you probably just got over the turmoil and trash-talking from the last election in November, and it might seem to early to be thinking about who’s next. The truth is that it’s NOT too early to start running for president. People are already heckling the likes of Hillary Clinton to run for office in 2016, so why shouldn’t other candidates start getting their name out there? Before you start doubting too much of what is said here let me first clear up that this is not an April Fool’s joke despite the fact that I am posting it on April 1, 2013. Additionally, I do not make any proof to the validity of his claims, only presentign them as he does, out of respect that it may or may not be true. So rather than bash him, or glorify him, I will try to illustrate his campaign in as unbiased of a manner as I possibly can.
Here’s a name that you probably haven’t heard before, Andrew D Basiago. He is not a politician by trade, and his background is a bit unconventional. In Fact, some will have trouble believing the tales he tells about his past, and rightly so. Andrew D Basiago is a lawyer in Washington State who leads a political campaign called “The Truth Movement”, whose main goal is to force the American government to disclose many truths that they have been witholding from the general public. Sure, our government keeps many things secret and we just assume that it is for our own good, but what are they really hiding?
Andrew D Basiago claims that the US Government has developed the ability to leap between Time and Space, think of Quantum Leap with Scott Bakula. This would allow them to travel through time to different historical events in the past and in our future, as well as being able to travel across fast distances to other planets. He wants the government to declassify this information so that teleportation can be used as a means of transportation by common people. If you think that sounds a little nuts, you may be right, but what if he is speaking the truth?
Basiago doesn’t just claim to know about the secret teleportation capability, he also claims that he was once a Chrononaut travelling through Time and Space. He served in what he calls Project Pegasus back in the 1960′s and 1970′s when he was just a young child. As part of Project Pegasus he travelled, or teleported, to Mars and became one of its first human explorers. Later, in the 1980′s he was called back into service by the CIA and participated in what they called a “Jump Room”.
Basiago has spent much of his adult life trying to uncover the events that he took part in as a child, and to bring them to the public’s attention. Rightly so, it has been an uphill battle trying to prove these evidences to people who were raised to believe that these experiences could not possibly be true. And if he plans to run for Predident of the United States he is going to have an even bigger battle overcoming the stigma that his personal experiences have given him.

Aside from the part of Andrew D Basiago’s past that may seem more like a chapter from John Carter of Mars, let’s take a brief moment to look at some of the political views expressed by Basiago. Afterall if you are planning to run for President you must have a valid agenda and likeable points of view. He has this to say about his right to run for office: “I view the right to run for President as a great gift, bequethed upon me by heroic ancestors, with the courage to cross vast distances, the ingenuity to achieve mighty feats, and the wisdom to pursue noble ideals so that I could be blessed with the opportunity to be an American.”
Straight from the Facebook group (Andy 2016!) he states: “If elected President in 2016, I will defend the right of the American people to keep and bear arms and I will ask Congress to establish a deputy program regulated at the state level that will put an armed deputy from within the citizenry at all public facilities large enough to be selected as targets by the sociopaths who prey upon the citizenry because it is not armed.”
“After we establish global public teleportation in the 2020′s, we will be able to nurture parts of the Earth back to their natural beauty. The Time-Space Age can be a time when we bring the built environment and the natural environment into a state of balance.”
While Andrew D Basiago is an Independent, he plans to rally the support of Republicans and Democrats alike, rather than just cater to his minority party. Here is a brief quotation of his plans for running for office: “In 2016, I will campaign in the red states as well as the blue states. Do those living in the red states want truth in government? Do they want an administration they can trust? So they expect the President of the United States to lead the effort to improve the technical infrastructure of our country? Are they ready for a radical new tax reform proposal that will remove the burden of taxation from the people while simultaneously creating more revenues to fund necessary functions of government? You betcha, and so I will take my campaign in 2016 deep to the heart of Dixie.”
“If elected President in 2016, I will appoint a 13-member blue ribbon commission of distinguished lawyers to evaluate all legislation sponsored by, the CIA presidents Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama for the Constitutionality and where given enactments and orders are found by the majority of the commission to be unconstitutional, I will ask the Attorney General to challenge the laws enacted by the CIA assets Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama that the American people have found themselves submerged under the rising tide of a police state and people in other lands have found themselves crushed under the boot of American fascism, which is a desecration of what this nation once stood for and will stand for again.”
