Tbh sometimes I feel like I don't deserve to like my interests.

For illustration: Despite being a huge fan of 20th century physicists and chemists and the synthetic elements, I was never formally trained in the physical sciences, let alone quantum physics. I get a little self-conscious about this, especially given there are literally zero people in my real life who share my interests.
