Hi I’m very confused on the shiemi part of the chapter. Is that shiemi or is that her mom? I’m so lost. I’m still new to this so everything is confusing. Someone said “nothing must happen to the child she’s carrying”. This line makes me think that’s her mom carrying the shiemi we know but then I see someone in there too that looks like her mom currently

No worries though, this part of the chapter…
had everyone surprised and indeed, in my opinion, “Shiemi” in this chapter is our Shiemi’s mom while “Shemihaza” is our Shiemi’s grandmother.
As for that Ilya dude, maybe it’s our Shiemi’s dad, I mean I don’t know, but I think we’re many to have guessed that the Uzai family has possibly been fathering Shemihaza’s hosts/nephilims for several generations now. x)
I loved this part of the chapter though, because I find it’s particularly significant and giving us many clues at once. First of all, it tells us that Shemihaza can withstand possession/Satan’s powers…
…which fits with how our Shiemi countered demon!Rin’s awakening/outburst from a little while ago.
Second of all, rather than a name, I think “Shiemi” is actually a title, just like “Shemihaza”. “Shemihaza” is one of the Grigori, one of the wised 3, the current matriarch of the Moriyama family, while “Shiemi” probably refers to her heir: the next Shemihaza to be.
So, back during the Blue Night, “Shemihaza” was our Shiemi’s grandmother, while “Shiemi” was her mother. Now her mother is Shemihaza while our lovely Shiemi is, in fact, “Shiemi”; until her mother retires and she will take on the Shemihaza position as her own daughter becomes the next “Shiemi”.
In theory of course. After all, it’s so very dehumanizing (thanks for nothing, Uzai family) that it calls for the full circle to be broken.
In fact we saw this kind of family curse in the story previously, with Izumo’s arc…
…as well as Shura’s…
…and one could say that Renzou’s arc is headed the same way, even if it’s less a family curse than Renzou feeling like he doesn’t have his own identity.
The story is full of examples like this: the clones of Section 13, Shura, Izumo, Renzou/Takezou, even Rin and Satan… However, if Izumo and Shura managed to break their curse (with help), there is no reason to think that Shiemi won’t be able to teach a lesson to the Uzai family, once she figures out that she doesn’t have to abandon the future she wanted to satisfy their schemes.
And I already mentioned before who I think is meant to be helpful for her predicament, acting as temptation or simply as the necessary trigger. [x][x]
With each passing chapter, the Order is meant to be going down anyway. It started way before the Blue Night, it almost happened during this terrible incident, but now that all Hell has broken loose (literally), it’s steadily coming up and I can’t wait for it. :))
TL;DR Shiemi’s mom was pregnant with our Shiemi during the Blue Night. And while the Uzai family believes that Shiemi is the same terrified and helpless little child that she used to be…
…we readers know that it’s far from being true.
Getting to discover the world and other people is how Izumo and Shura managed to break free from their respective family curse. Shiemi will be no different, it’s just that the consequences of such a rebellion may trigger the end of the Order as we know it. :D

Hello Anon and sorry for the delay, I was very busy this week! :3 That being said, your question is very related to the topic of the scheming Uzai family that I was discussing just above, so here we go. :)
It’s true that we have yet to see (since the journey through the past isn’t over) how Section 13 came to be dismantled and when the Illuminati came to be created exactly. Indeed though, if Drac never quit experimenting for Lucifer, we can imagine that the Uzai family still has a suspicious link to the Illuminati too:
After all Jeremiah, who’s the current leader of the family, was Lucifer’s bodyguard during the Blue Night. So it’d be interesting to see how this partnership ended (or maybe how it never ended, haha).
As for Arthur, well…
…honestly, considering how they lied to him about his origins, which triggered a huge amount of hatred towards demonkind, I think the most likely possibility is that they wanted a very dedicated pawn, I mean Paladin, to use for their schemes.
Think about it: the Paladin at the time of the Blue Night was Abel Franken (most likely a Samael clone from Section 13), who executed the orders he was given just fine. Then it was Shiro…
…and, lmao, I think we all know how much he didn’t care to listen to them, even with the contract of Morinath supposedly chaining him to secrecy. xDD
In fact, if Arthur is always calling Shiro “the worst Paladin of all times”, it’s probably because the Uzai family found it very annoyingly difficult to manipulate everyone with Shiro not playing his role of the loyal dog. xDD
Therefore, manipulating Arthur into believing that they saved him was the best way for them to make sure that the next Paladin would not get in their way.
Besides, it seems Lucifer is managing with several vessels already…
so unless someone gives him Rin or Yukio to try, I’m not sure that he’s interested in previous clones like Arthur (despite the fact that Arthur still being alive as a teenager implied that he survived many experiments from Section 13).
TL;DR Arthur is yet another pawn, that is to say another example, that the Uzai family needs to go down, otherwise the Order will never get a chance to be a better organization, if it’s ever needed at all (which I’m not sure about honestly).
