I did it! I managed to beat my apathy back and complete my fan binding for my favorite Tarsus IV fics!
I've learned a lot as I went and somehow the book ended up as tightly wound as I am (oops) but overall I'm happy with my first attempt at fanbinding. There definitely some skills that I need to practice before I try again, though.
This was a very satisfying personal project and I look forward to adding to my new, physical collection of fanfiction. I know some people disagree with fan binding but, as a small-time fic writer, I'd be honored if someone thought my writing was good enough for printing. And, since I read these docs 2-3 times a year, I know this physical copy will be in my hands frequently.
