So, finally sitting down and watching The Bad Batch all the way through (watched the first few episodes when it came out but life got in the way and never finished it).

Spoilers for the series below:

Maybe it’s just my love for horror coming out (and I’m sure someone’s already beat me to the punch but I can’t sleep and need to yap; but can you imagine just how much an existential nightmare it might be for clones under the effects of the inhibitor chip? I’m just in episode one and I can clearly see how Crosshair seems to be in physical pain sometimes after Order 66. Hell, Omega directly says he can’t help it.

Imagine still having some of your original cognition while under the effects of the chip. Being trapped in your own mind as your bodies does things you plead for it not to and your mouth is saying things you never say. Or, maybe the chip basically blends your original personality with the chip’s “good soldiers” bit. So you have a hard time trying to tell what’s real or what’s not. What’s the chip’s influence and what is your own original thought. Idk what would be worse.

TLDR; the chips sound like my own personal hell.

Ever get the feeling that you really want certain characters to go through Angst or just something really depressing/traumatic? Because I so badly want that between Four and Shadow. (Depressing wise)

Like more specifically, Shadow just slowly dying and Four can't do anything but watch as he does while Four also battles with himself on how to feel about it.

Four should be happy about it, right? But is he really? Should he save him? Does he even deserve to be saved?

While Shadow is just waiting for his inevitable end, he knows he can't be saved, regardless of if Four would even try to save him, but why would he?

Part of Four thinks maybe Shadow deserves another chance, that he did help to save them in the end while another feels that 'save' was more for himself or a chance at earning trust to later use against him. Shadow is manipulative after all.

But by the time Four finally realizes how he feels about the shadow, it's far too late and Shadow will already be on his death bed.

Idk I've just been on this idea for awhile now.

I just love Red sm and he is my favorite with Shadow as a very close second favorite

My Adventures with Punishing: Gray Raven

So I mentioned before that I picked up PGR due to the Devil May Cry collab, and...I am genuinely shocked at how good this game is. Don't get me wrong; it still has Gacha elements which I do not like (I just don't really like gacha to begin with, which is ironic considering how much I like Umamusume), but the story? DAMN.

I'm currently on a grind for Vergil, and I think I have to hit the pity before I ever get him D....X. But I'm doing all the side missions. The hidden stories. There's a lot of depth to the characters. The game isn't afraid to stray from the theme of war and what it means to be human. I love plotlines in games that really make me think.

Right now, I'm finishing up Camu's personal story. I got Metal Gear flashbacks from a few of these. The game is completely free if ya wanna try it! Thanks for listening to me yap!
