Bio:

One of the most famous vampires in history, more commonly known as Angelus, his soulless counterpart. Born as Liam in Galway, Ireland, in 1727, he was a disappointment to his father and a drunk. Sired by Darla, he took on the world one bite at a time, with the assistance of Darla, Spike, and Drusilla. However, in 1898 Angelus maliciously tortured and killed a group of gypsies, who vengefully restored his soul as punishment. Forced to live as the souled vampire Angel, he suffered lifetimes of torment, his soul filled with guilt and remorse. The only way to remove his soul and unleash Angelus is to undergo a moment of pure happiness, and Angel works hard to prevent that from happening. Angel now runs Angel Investigations, a paranormal prevention agency in L.A. with the help of his team.
