Hey guys~! Finland here! Sorry for the lack of updates! Angel and I have been planning a move and working and planning for the Teas that we are doing at Izumicon. Speaking of those; We have four that we are doing at Izumicon. They are all going to be held in the Native American room at the Cox convention center on the second floor. We have tea (obviously) and snacks for you guys. All menu items will be under $1. Here are the themes and times:
Friday night 7pm to 9pm-Fandomstuck (Angel-Supernatural, Me-Sherlock) There will be mock ‘weddings’ performed at this one, by Homestuck who will announce you as an official OTP. You can marry each other or marry one of the fandoms present at the teas. Also, Homestuck may randomly pull you and another person from your seats and announce you as an OTP (this would only happen if Homestuck sees two characters he thinks belongs together. His example to us was JackxElsa, to give you an idea of what would happen) HOWEVER! If you are uncomfortable with it, please let Homestuck know and he will respect your wishes.
Saturday morning 8:30am to 10:30am- Homestuck (Angel-Dirk Strider, Me-God Tier Rose) There will be many Homestuck characters in maid outfits at this one. Karakt, John (possibly. If he doesn’t back out), and Gamzee to name a few. There will also be tarot readings done here (by me). They will cost $5 each. We may also have tea leaf readings there (this is ify as we have not found out if the person who would be doing those readings can make it).
Saturday evening 6pm to 8pm-1950s/Sock Hop (Angel- 1950s America, Me-1950s 2P!Fem!America) This will be a tea filled with lots of dancing and music. We are going to try to have Karaoke set up for people to sing. (Though the songs will all be from the 50s era) If you do not want to dance or sing, that’s fine. HOWEVER! YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO AT LEAST DO THE HAND JIVE WITH US WHEN THE SONG COMES ON! This is a very simple dance and you can do it while sitting down! :) If you do not know what the Hand Jive is, look it up on youtube; or just watch the school dance part of Grease. They do the Hand Jive there.
Sunday morning 8am to 10am-Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles (Angel-Kurogane, Me-Fai) There won’t be much to do here as it is early morning and everyone will still be waking up. So~ you’ll just have to be entertained by Fai and Kurogane bickering at each other and Mokona joining in as well. Syaoran and Sakura will be there too, but they’re kinda low-key and so will probably be mostly serving tea and snacks.
Phew! I know that was a lot of information! We’re going to try doing better about being on here. So we’ll keep you guys updated. I promise! Things will finally be settling after Izumicon so we’ll have more time to keep things going!
