ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY

Angel and I met at a McDonald's after a convention. I don't think we've told our fans this story. So, here it is.

Sunday afternoon after con, my friends and I decide to stop and eat after the exciting weekend, in which I bought the world (a group of Hetalia cosplayers in the dating auction to raise money to find homes for animals at shelters so they wouldn't be euthanized) for $100. Angel had decided to stop as well to get food for her little boy.

I had ordered and was waiting on my food, sipping my Dr. Pepper, when I hear a little voice go: 'Miss America!' I turn and see a 3 almost 4 year old... his cosplay name shall be H1RO until he decides otherwise, H1RO behind me. I turn and bend down to his level, saying 'hi' and thinking 'I hope his parents don't get mad'.

He sees an America pin I had on my lanyard and tells me he had one like it, but that it got lost. So, since I had literally just found the button on the con floor at the rave, I gave it to him. He then went over to Angel and showed it to her saying 'Momny, look! Miss America gave me this button!'

Angel looked at me and told me thank you and that she thought a few girls that had been dancing with H1RO at the rave had stolen some of his buttons. So I reassured her that he could keep the button. I gave her my FB info, but she apparently lost it so she had to stalk pictures to try and find me, because she wanted to try returning the button.

She eventually, a few months later, found a picture Little Loki of Asgard had taken on H1RO in his Naruto outfit. Which lead her to Little Loki's page and she found a pic of me in my Fem!America cosplay with an America cosplayer. And sent me a message and a friend request.

I told her not to worry about the button cause it was probably H1RO's to begin with. And that was the start or our friendship. Which eventually lead to us becoming cosplay partners. 6 years ago, today.

So~ Happy meeting day to us! Lol

So, I've been thinking about something for a while. How many of you would watch/be interested in, a video of me as (God Tier) Rose Lalonde (Homestuck character), giving monthly Tarot readings? I can do other characters that would plausibly (or obviously) be associated with reading tarot as well. Though, right now it's limited to Rowena Ravenclaw and Rose Lalonde. I could probably throw together a make shift Katrina (fortune telling cat in Animal Crossing) as well. Conventions II | Tokyo In Tulsa 2016

We rise from the deep~! We’re still going, barely. Things have been super rough these last few months... I lost my mom to cancer in December of 2015 and then my grandma to depression and heart-break in April of 2016. Then, few days after my grandma passed, Angel lost her step-sister. So that, plus paying bills and getting a house and all kinds of other stuff have set us back quite a lot. That being said, Tokyo in Tulsa was the first con we’ve gone to this year and we got to be part of this video. We’re in the DC group. It was really fun and I think you guys will enjoy it. Again, I’m so sorry we haven’t been active for a while.

Angel will be doing Godric Gryffindor and we’ll be at the Norman Renaissance Fair (Oklahoma) this weekend (we’ll also have a Salazaar Slytherin with us). A picture will be posted when Angel gets her Gryffindor done.
