The conversation didn't feel uncomfortable, but I still feel bad about what happened. -I think Cindy still thinks I'm an idiot because I won't tell Angilan how I feel. -Maybe she's right. Translator’s notes:

- There’s a mistake in that last panel; it should be “Oel kxetseti Olangiyä mi pxìsyek!” but I forgot the tense infix and by the time I saw it in the photo I’d already put the paper away and didn’t want to dig it out again. - For those of you who don’t already know, “irayo” is “thank you” usually in the sense of “thank you (for doing that)”, while “ke pxan” (lit. “not worthy”) is equivalent to English’s “thank you (for the compliment)”. - Angilan adding the <ei> infix into “I’m sure (you’ll kick our asses)” is intended to be both funny and cute/sweet; he’s not-so-subtly saying “you’re going to kick our asses and I’m happy about it and don’t even mind losing to you”

For anyone wondering, yes, Angilan is blushing in that fourth panel when Paltxi teasingly calls him out on wishing luck to the opposing team. It didn’t come out super visible on the photo for some reason. (Also, Paltxi’s ikran has a name now, Raindrop/Tompìva!)
