There is such a difference between being a fan of something and being in the fandom! I’ll watch something and like to love it. Maybe I was really touched and cried in a good way. And I’ll get all excited. But I don’t process things visually very fast and I’m not the most knowledgeable fan, I’m not in the fandom. So I’ll excitedly go look at a tag to learn all the cool references and Easter eggs I missed and maybe see some analysis of themes I didn’t think through as much.
And it’s just Troy returning with pizza and angry wailing.
Sigh. I just wanna nerd out.
This was me the last two days during the holidays.
Logged on and scrolled for a bit saw there was new BG stuff that happened for like a split second and logged right back off. Not so much that something BG related happened bc I know he never had and clearly still doesn't have much say in the matter nor does him seeing the kid twice a year and making a random comment or two change the fact F isn't his.
Really I logged out bc some people have been pitchforks and torches with everything louis says and does lately and something new with BG was making that worse. I knew if I stayed logged on long enough I would get more annoyed and exhausted then I already was with how people have been acting thus start ranting again which i'm trying not to do. It's like some people don't get BG is a stunt in the same way El or Olivia is/was. BG will come up every once until they publicly make it clear F isn't his kid.
Just warning Tumblr about the storm that’s coming! I’ve never seen people run from a fandom so fast before. They’re jumping ship hard! Let’s just say this fandom didn’t get it’s Promised Neverland. With the final chapter having released, be prepared for a storm! ~Animegirl6755
I am just as devastated, pissed off and heartbroken about that finale, but hear me out...
This painful shit, with all the baiting and bad writting remind me of Legends of Tomorrow season 1 with Sara and Snart (still not over them btw) out of the blue they announced that most loved character is out for good, because actor is leaving BUT he did came back.
And the only way I can see The Magicians go is to leave Quentin out for whole season 5 only to tease his comeback in the finale.
I know it just seems to be my hope that they actually didn't do something unnecessarily cruel and BAD for viewers and ratings
BUT (I know lots of buts and ifs) for now all they did was to atract viewers and have awesome ratings right? Even if the ratings drop in season 5, because of the shit they pulled, announcing that Q will be back for season 6 in the finale would be a great move to not only get viewers back, but also gain new ones.
And if season 6 would be their final as I heard it would be perfect play for them.
Can anyone see that too?
Me sitting here laughing at all of my fellow Loki fans who think they’re gonna give Avengers: Endgame a poor opening by not attending after what’s been done to Loki’s character.
Listen, ya’ll, the Fandom Menace tried with Captain Marvel to showcase just how much of a shitstorm that stupid movie was and it still made near a billion dollars because of Normies, SJW feminists, and soy boys.
Do ya’ll honestly think you’re gonna even make a dent in Endgame’s profits?
