Something, something, Steve being too nervous to get intimate with Eddie because it seems like all of the relationships he’s had that he did get intimate with didn’t last and now he’s paranoid that if he does Eddie will leave. But he also wants to have that kind of relationship with Eddie because that’s a way of how he shows his love.
Something, something, Eddie being too nervous to get intimate because he doesn’t want it to confirm their relationship with just being just an experiment and Steve leaving him. But also not being able to show his full feelings because he is very much a physically affectionate person and wants Steve to know how much he loves him.
During the vote to kill Percy at the end of Titan's curse
ARES POV
Athena votes to kill Percy. Percy flinches like she's bracing for a hit-as if to lessen the pain of betrayal she knows is coming.
Ares: *squints at her.*
He looks at Athena, looks at her.
An ancient memory surfaces, "One day, my mother will vote to kill me and my father we tell me he wishes I had never been born." Ares starts rapidly looking back and forth as Zeus decrees that they won't kill her.
His eyes widen.
"F--- Areia?!?!" he yells, interrupting Zeus's speech.
Ares points at Percy, "You!" he accuses and tackles her to the ground, wrestling her to the floor. "Welcome back to the Shitty Parent Club, cousin!"
Perse's eyes widen as she realizes that Ares is the first and only person to recognize her. Her eyes start to water as he rubs his knuckles into her newly grey-streaked hair.
"I told you so," she said, still sad but red in the face from the wrestling. "My mother will vote to kill me, and my father will tell me he wished I hadn't been born."
----
Athena's eyes widen to owlish proportions as she puts together the clues right in front of her.
"Perse?"
Poseidon makes a noise that's half wounded seal-half desperately hopeful father. Both surge forward to where Perse is now wrestling playfully on the floor with Ares.
Before anyone can move more than an inch, the Fates barge in to the throne room, cackling. "You weren't supposed to see that!" Clotho throws down a smoke bomb from her billowy old sleeves while Lachesis grabs Perse from the marble floor.
Athena lunges forward with a heartbroken cry as smoke envelopes the room.
"See you next time!"
Bloodymary angst idea?
Grace needs to sedate simon with armando during their first meeting bc simon is super defensive/aggressive/a threat bc he thinks grace is gonna send him back down into the blood ocean, right? But headcannon, the way the coi originally simon into the iron lung is by sedating him and placing him there (For whatever reason, to avoid a convict seeing the inside of their station, lack of trust, etc etc). So that experience just further cements in simon's mind that grace is coi and creates more distrust between the two of them
I know this may sound morbid, but imagine if starscream flatlined while he was in stasis lock and ratchet couldn't save him as a bad ending in young seekers au? 💔
Oh that opens a new world full angst anon, first of all the most affected by starscream death will be Thundercracker and skywarp, they will be devastated and it will trow a wrench at they relationship whit the autobots, they will have an absolute hard time trusting any of them and who knows what they can plot in they grieving.
The second one will be ratchet, he will be more detached because he’s a medic and is a professional but I’m sure he will be depressed for some time because he couldn’t save him.
But my favorite in the angst scale is Optimus. He will blame himself so badly, I’m sure he will look composed on the outside but when he’s alone he will breakdown for the weight of the consequences of the war finally settling on him and making him regret so many things
“Damian Wayne is a bad brother.” “Tim Drake is bullied.” Blah blah blah. I don’t want to hear another story of Damian bullying Tim, I want traumatized Damian who is actually being bullied by Tim but Tim doesn’t even realize.
Do you guys understand the angst potential here?? DO YOU???
Like just imagine.
Damian isn’t actually the beloved prince his whole family thought he was. In reality, he was just a body double for Ra’s and therefore didn’t really matter. Thalia tried to help him, but they were separated as soon as he turned 3. He’s died like 3 times before he was 10. His room is just an empty room with a dresser, multiple weapons, and a crappy blanket on the floor and the world’s most uncomfortable pillow. So he is NOT actually a prince. But all the Bats think he is because of how he acts, but that’s actually because of @papayafromtv idea that he was a mini Jason for years and needed to hide his mannerisms. And the reason he tried to kill Tim is because everyone was saying how amazing he was and Damian just wanted to see if that was true. He’s a baby assassin, he doesn’t know any better.
So, now Tim is essentially bullying him not realizing that Damian is actually just trying to connect with his big brother. Like Damian is devastated, but he thinks he deserves it and so does Tim, so Tim doesn’t even realize he’s technically being a bully, he just thinks that Damian is trying to hurt him or kill him again.
LIKE THE ANGST POTENTIAL IS HUGE!
Love the idea of the others arguing like crazy with Bruce over their independence and how they want Bruce to get off their back so badly but the moment he goes quiet or MIA for a while without informing them they go batshit crazy. It's fun to read.
You ever think about how in Beauty and The Beast, Lumiere complains that he hasn’t been able to serve people in so long, implying that Beast hasn’t been having standard meals? Do you wonder if he was falling into behavior of his more animalistic body, an almost ‘fine then, have your monster in the forest’ mentality? Do you think he hunted for himself, and it was the only thing that got him out of that castle with any kind of regularity? Do you think part of why he did it was that he didn’t feel like he deserved cooked food anymore?
You ever think about how that first dinner with Belle is an affirmation of humanity?
