He and Anakin are wrestling on the ground and Obi-Wan normally would’ve been annoyed at the display of child-like anger, except the fight between the two friends is anything but.
He can’t see Anakin’s face but the wild punches and aggressive words are enough to make Obi-Wan realize that his former apprentice is not just angry — he’s beyond the point of furious, because Anakin’s emotions are spiraling out of control.
There’s bloodlust in Anakin’s eyes that makes Obi-Wan’s stomach churn. Never before has he seen such a look, especially not from Anakin. Sure, he’s seen open hostility and an unhealthy fierceness, but never a predatory gaze.
Obi-Wan knows that if he doesn’t act quickly, Anakin will kill him.
