Have you heard the "theory" that when Katniss was playing with the pearl it was just a metaphor for masturbating? You can google it to see the argument for it.

I have definitely heard that theory before, it's been the topic of discussion quite a few times on Tumblr. I guess it's not totally farfetched that Katniss indulged in some angsturbation at some point. I just don't think she was doing it in that moment, considering that Prim was like...right there. And also awake, watching her, lol. That would be super weird, right? Because Prim even comes over and "touches the hand that has curled around the pearl."
