Animanga 2018

I went to Animanga with my friend Pusheen as 9S, the first time this con was ever held in California, and had a lot of fun.

We were extremely late to day 1. So Pusheen was disappointed at the lack of stuff. I got to meet shgurr but was kind of a mess so I only left with a keychain from her. I saw Raven from Elsword, but for some reason the pictures of him turned out weird. All the events had passed, so this was more of a day to familiarize ourselves with the place.

I witnessed a hero uniform deku murder a 3 year old with a wrecking ball and while casual deku immediately forfeited the game to help him back up toga died laughing. my god

Day 2 we arrive earlier so Pusheen could meet 9S’s voice actor. He was a really nice guy and when he didn’t have a line I pretty much shoved her to him to sign her painting. She shoved me in return to ask Mercy for her photo ;3;

So many photos taken today and there were a few times I perched on other people’s photoshoots, but some of them saw me and turned to me after someone else. ;w;

I finally go back to Shgurr and talk to her properly and bought two signed prints and took a selfie with her. She loved the deku story. “One for All I guess.” I wanted to give her fanart, but I forgot to bring it and I didn’t know if she was even okay with it until she posted what she got on twitter later that day. Well, I already gave away over 60 drawings for free, I need to chill out.

Day 3 was when Pusheen had a smash gaming tournament. There was a hugeass line, but I got to be support for her first match. her and her boyfriend both signed up. I went over to the cosplay contest and I couldn’t take ANY photo of the stage because no camera settings were working. But Shoto saw me from a distance and posed for me without asking, while his fangirls were screaming all over him. And he wasn’t even a contestant lol

I passed by both Angi viper and Ashlynne Dae and even though I wanted to tell both of them I liked their work they were also too pretty for me to function around them lmao so i chickened out

I SAW THE CUTEST FROPPY AND SHE WAS ON STAGE AND 6 YEARS OLD ;3;

The first contestant was Zuko and Fire nation Katara and they were so extra with a ribbon dance and they kissed at the end so everyone screeched oh god

Fire nation sokka and Aang were on later and they demonstrate his cool trick with a fucking fidget spinner

First place goes to Roadhog! I asked her and second place, who was someone from love live, for detailed pictures.

A lot of first timers were among the contestants so they were really brave to go up and dance/pose. ;w;

Prints acquired: 4 Mercys, Kill la witch (4 characters), 2 Tsuyus, Mami Tomoe, Kaori Miyazono, Deep Sea Girl Miku, Homura Akemi, RWBY girls, 2 shgurrs. Most that could fit within a single frame, so I could rotate them. :D

Tried SNES mario and i have absolutely no idea how anyone could win that game

Toga and Deku were walking around blaring despacito so i had to ask them for a picture lmao

Last minute purchase was a spiderman t shirt. it looks so good for being handmade..

I also bought two tracer guns and a mercy pistol. because i had to ;3;

Very small con, really impressive for the first time being held here, and I mainly learned that my camera is slowly dying, but I had a great time there anyways. AX was hell and this was such a nice nice break.
