TWEE RADIO SCOPES

I don’t think I have ever posted this drawing anywhere. I did it more than two years ago, so it’s kind of badly drawn. But I just had a weird thought about how the receivers on radio telescopes looked kind of like noses, and so I started sketching a weird array of “radio puppies.” 

I did some radio astronomy in undergrad and really liked it, but unfortunately the one guy in my graduate school who does radio has too many students working for him so I don’t have that option at the moment. 

Now I gotta go back to measuring galaxy haloes. I really wish I had a more interesting 2nd year project (though I *might* be able to work SMBHs into it somehow) but I’m too far in to turn back.

Alright. So, I may be obsessed with the idea of G/T interactions between humans and animate inanimate objects. On the tiny side, there can be living Lego people, baseballs with faces, and so much more!

On the giant side, the only thing I can think of would be a giant humanoid statue coming to life.

Would you say that Screwie the talking baseball's hops and bounces are the same or different?

A story idea of mine involves gentle G/T interactions between a human and a talking tennis ball with a human face.

His felt (which is like fur to him) is fluorescent yellow, the standard color for tennis balls.

His face consists of a pair of eyes and a mouth. His eyes have eyelids that appear to be made of golden brown rubber plus black eyebrows attached to what appear to be eyebrow bones (yes, his eyebrows are “over” his felt). His mouth has a pink tongue, sixteen teeth (four in each quadrant, all with a flat square shape), and lips that also seem to be made of golden brown rubber.

The oval that covers a tennis ball thins to nothing but a subtle line where it should be around his eye level, the line ending at the corners of his lips.

Do the golden brown eyelids and lips work well with his fluorescent yellow felt?
