i found the perfect song for a secret of the mimic animatic

(before anyone misinterprets my words. No I’m NOT making one but one keeps forming in my mind )

I found this by chance last night

and I instantly kept thinking about Edwin & the mimic

most of the song is about The Mimic but some parts make me think Edwin

The best way can imagine parts of it (in no order beyond what I remember/can describe )

the very start

-Edwin pleading to the mimic in his burning house (as 1 it fits the dialogue of the tape you can find in Edwin’s office in his house & 2 the song talks about burning)

after 0:55 to

-the mimic attacking various fazbear employees sent to retrieve it

& also

-a quick series of scenes with each of the 5 “main” costumes/animatronics the mimic uses (Jackie, Big Top, Dollie/Molten Dollie, Chica & Tiger Rock (although I did hear someone theorize that might’ve been David possessing the suit given how it practically teleports similar to golden Freddy but that’s doesn’t matter ) (mainly the first 3 but possibly the other 2)) (this one would repeat for when the “robot or a doll “ segment repeats if this hypothetically was made)

the rest between it all would be Arnold (I think the player character’s name was Arnold…) entering murray’s costume manor & progressing through the game leading up to the true ending(the only ending that makes canonical sense aka the car crash ending )

and maybe at the very very end at the very last second, a jump to ruin with the mimic and Cassie staring at each other. Just that then a cut to black

i genuinely wish I could describe my idea better …

Opinion

Would an animatic to "world of oure imagination" be sick with Wander and Sylvia or what?

Like when they first get to know one another.

Wander is showing her the world of his "creation" aka, seeing the world through a brighter lens and all the community he's built by being a helper.

There should be a scene where Wander ushers her to a pool of water at night on some planet and it's quite barren in all other senses. Sylvia seems confused and Wander is bowed before the water, grinning back at her nudging his head with "come check this out" and then he taps the water or something and then a bubble rises up that gains a light. And then the environment bursts the air full of those twinkling lights.

Another scene idea: at the start, he walks up ahead as Sylvia follows her uncertainly looking around and Wander greets someone and then picks up a flower or something and hands it to another with a little bow and hat raise. Someone offers him a pie and sylvia looks down to it lile 'huh...'

I also want a scene where Wander pulls bushes aside after they've trecked up some mountain or something and it reveals the most beautiful scenery

Maybe if I pick the one that goes kinda sadder at the end, it'll be wander alone now. Approaching his younger self cowering alone. He has this gentle and patient smile on his face as he walks up to himself covering up his face. Wander stops and then bends down to one knee, extending his hand. Young wander maybe looks up and then comes a twin close shot of older wander still having that smile.

Hold on I should look the lyrics up and then layour everything down because I don't remember what bits are where cuz I'm listening to this song on a seamless loop right now.[singing this in the shower lol.]

Yk. I was working on an Athena animatic.

I was using the song "It's All So Incredibly Loud" and I ended up getting like 30 seconds in out of the... 4 minutes and 20 seconds I was supposed to do 💀

The animatic was supposed to show how Athena was feeling during the 10 years she was away from Odysseus. REGRET would show up as a small Odysseus, following her around everywhere. At first, she tries to ignore it. Only she can see REGRET. But then it starts watching her sleep. It starts giving her nightmares. Over the years, it starts to grow bigger and bigger, until it's a towering monster over her, a monstrous version of the person she was supposed to protect.

Throughout the animatic, Athena would grow more and more disorganized. Her hair is a mess, there's dark circles under her eyes, she's missing an armor piece or two. The bigger REGRET gets, the more panicked Athena would look, as the monster follows wherever she goes. She starts snapping at those trying to help her, clearly noticing that something isn't right with her. Towards the end of the animatic, Aphrodite is able to see the monster, as it clings onto Athena, giving Aphrodite a wicked grin.

Eventually, by the end, Athena breaks. She pulls out her spear, ready to take the monster on.

Until it flashes to a young Odysseus, about 12 years old, looking terrified.

Athena immediately drops the spear, as "Odysseus" and REGRET disappears. She crumbles to the floor breathing heavily, looking down at her trembling hands, horrified at what she almost did. The animatic would end with Athena screaming one last time.

I really wanted to make an OC animatic to this song, but unfortunately I only have a limited amount of hours in my day, so this sketchy little comic thingy will have to do for now lol

Also ☝️. Animation(?) thing i made. I wanna properly animate it eventually but i usually just forget about these so idk. Shrugs. Depends on my level of motivation and stuff but I like this concept so I might actually work on it properly
